Farewell, Hello, and Why Hello There

So many things happening over the next couple weeks, I need to make sure you’re informed.

First, the sad news. Paul, our beloved staff member, is off to greener pastures in the fine state of Maine. Which means, unlike our other deserters, he won’t be filling in shifts any time soon. To put it simply, Paul is a one of a kind great guy; fun-loving, positive, hard working, sincere, loyal, artistic. We will miss him, I’m sure lots of customers will miss him and I can’t wait until he comes limping back to LA begging for his job back. Just kidding — go get ‘em, Paul!

On a happier staff note, Christina is back on Monday nights as the most over-qualified host of all time. Come by and visit, if you’d like to say hi.

We will be closed this coming Saturday night for the finals of our Top Of The Line Cooking Competition. If you have tickets, get excited for another promising night of delicious food, seriously dedicated cooks, thoughtful and illuminating critique and some LA celebrity chefs as guests. If you don’t have tickets, don’t worry about it, cause we’re sold out.

Here comes some more exciting news. Saturday, December 10th we are hosting the very first installation of Dress Hall. Accompanying our regular dinner service will be short drag performances, around ten minutes, once an hour. Jimmy and Georgie will be performing as Izzy A. She and Maebe A. Girl respectively. In between their sets, which will be holiday related, they will serve and host as they normally do. Except they will be in drag, of course. Jess and Jen will round out the gender bending with their own masculine overtures. There is no additional cost for this bundle of entertainment, so just make a reservation or drop on by for a festive, funny, delicious evening of dinner and a show.

For Hannukah, coming up later in the month, we will be preparing potato latkes, matzo ball soup, and brisket for purchase. More on that in the weeks to come.

Have a great weekend and hope to see you at The Park.

-Chef Josh
